ABOUT TUCKER T DANSIE
I have been making films for over 10 years. I began making films as an editor on corporate video & commercials advertisements and quickly moved into shooting advertisements, concerts & motion graphics. In April of 1998 I had a desire to learn more about the Art of Film and so I attended the Vancouver Film School Film Foundation Program, where I not only made lifelong friends, but I was involved in some incredible films, two of which you can see on this website (The Hard Blue Glow & The Swishy Washy). Upon graduating, I kept on making short films on my own and became involved in many small ways in longer projects. I was the Cinematographer on the first LDS Feature Length Film that was shot on Digital Video and transferred to 35mm film, entitled "Suddenly Unexpected", we shot or 3 weeks in Houston, Texas.
Since that time I have turned to focusing on editing/motion graphics, since that is where I have had the most fun. I still make films to this day, but mostly as an editor, although I still writer, direct and shoot, but mostly just for fun or if there is a need for it as there are people that are much better at it then I.
Thanks for coming to see some of my films and please come back again soon!
